At The Brewtorium, we believe that great beer begins with good chemistry. Just like the perfect combination of hops, grain, water and yeast creates an exceptional beer, something magical happens when people connect over a couple of pints.
Chris and Whitney's journey began over pints on their first date, where they quickly realized their great chemistry was sparked by a shared love of craft beer. This passion has remained the cornerstone of their relationship and prompted them to build this dream together with the support of the Austin community.
A little nerdy and a lot of fun, the personality of The Brewtorium is a true reflection of its owners.
A Community Gathering Place
Dedicated to cultivating an environment rich with a sense of community, Chris and Whitney have strived to create a brewpub that serves as a warm, inviting gathering place for generations of patrons to experience fine craft beer and excellent food at a reasonable price.

Unlike many establishments, The Brewtorium doesn't have televisions, instead focusing on creating genuine human connections and regularly hosts meet ups, special events, markets, fundraisers, drag brunches & trivia! This place is INCREDIBLE. I had my birthday party here last year, and this year. Both times were amazing, consistently good. The food is super yummy, and the staff is just so nice, they offered a fridge for my cupcakes. Yes they allowed me to bring dessert both times. They have these long picnic style tables, along with regular tables, that comfortably fit 8-10 people. The ambiance is great because although it's has a lot of tables, the ceilings are high so there isn't too much noise. I had a tigers blood frozen cocktail and it was really good. I personally don't like beer but all the beer drinkers liked what they got. My food faves are the Reuben (with marbled rye!) the soft pretzel (with queso or fancy mustard) and the cheese pizza (don't be fooled by the fact that it is on the kids movie, it's regular size).
Just a good place to have a beer and food.
Best Mac n Cheese we've ever had. Hummus was solid, pizza was great. Love the Arnold Palmer.

This is one of our family's go to spots in Austin. Great beer, great food, and very kid friendly. Ample space and lots of cool pop up events promoting local businesses and artists!
Came here for the Oktoberfest event and had a great time. Good food, good beers, fun Stein holding competition, great music. Had a sour taste in my mouth when trying to close out as they were unable to find my tab. I couldn't close out or get a receipt. Then this morning, lo and behold I have a larger than expected bill with no clue what they charged me for or receipt of my purchases. The event was quite packed and tables were hard to come by, parking was plentiful however.

Amazing food, great service, very roomy.
I discovered this brewery after moving back to Austin in 2024, and it's been a frequently visited watering hole every since. Friendly and amazing service, solid food (I've only ever snacked on the pizza, pretzel, and chips and queso) and no wrong beer choice, regardless of what style you prefer. Support your local breweries, and that includes any visitors to Austin! I just moved to Dallas and I already miss this place!
Their flamingo bomb and the hippie pizza with the vegan cheese is the best pizza and beer combo in town, probably all 50 states.
