Our Story

Where Craft Beer, Great Food & Good People Come together!
At The Brewtorium, we believe that great beer begins with good chemistry. Just like the perfect combination of hops, grain, water and yeast creates an exceptional beer, something magical happens when people connect over a couple of pints.
Chris and Whitney's journey began over pints on their first date, where they quickly realized their great chemistry was sparked by a shared love of craft beer. This passion has remained the cornerstone of their relationship and prompted them to build this dream together with the support of the Austin community.
A little nerdy and a lot of fun, the personality of The Brewtorium is a true reflection of its owners.
A Community Gathering Place
Dedicated to cultivating an environment rich with a sense of community, Chris and Whitney have strived to create a brewpub that serves as a warm, inviting gathering place for generations of patrons to experience fine craft beer and excellent food at a reasonable price.
The Brewtorium encourages personal connection through thoughtfully designed spaces:
Community tables that prompt conversation among strangers-turned-friends
Comfortable bar seating for enjoying our craft beers
Long, inviting bench seating perfect for large groups
A spacious beer garden with ample shade
A private event room for celebrating with the folks you love
These elements combine to create a space where families and friends can linger, relax, and enjoy memorable afternoons and evenings in each other's company. Unlike many establishments, The Brewtorium doesn't have televisions, instead focusing on creating genuine human connections and regularly hosts meet ups, special events, markets, fundraisers, drag brunches & trivia! There’s something for everyone!

What our guests are saying
Solid, but not spectacular, and the food is only decent. It's a nice space, I appreciate that they take InKind, good people ime, great place to get people together. But not great compared to most of Austin options, I'd rather do one of the Pinthouse locations or ABW for a large group
The Burger was solid and the beer was brewed locally. This spot is spacious and has a great ambience for events, meetups, or a casual chat.
Cannot believe we just found this place. Delicious food. Good atmosphere. Good drinks. Hard to beat. Had TWO pretzels. Took a picture of what was left of the second. Those are a dont miss.
Then, my wife ordered the Chile lime chicken bowl. That is exceptional flavor. That dressing made the dish.
This isnt a come back, but a come back soon.
Great great great beer selection and their Reuben is absolutely delicious
Great food and great staff
Been multiple times, always a nice laidback and chll environment. Has variation in the beer with some good core beers. Food has been consistently good and .... NO TACOS! Big with plenty of space indoors and dog friendly outside. Walkable from metro.
The Brewtorium is a gem! Came here for a birthday celebration and left thoroughly impressed. The vibe is fantastic - buzzy but comfortable, with an atmosphere that makes you want to linger.
The ciders were excellent, the fries were crispy and satisfying, and the vegetarian mushroom pizza was a standout - flavorful and hearty. But honestly, what made the night was the service. Our server was warm, generous, and genuinely seemed happy to be there, which made all the difference.
Highly recommend for group outings, birthdays, or really any occasion worth celebrating. 5 stars!
Vegan pretzels!!! Nice open area for gatherings.
Pizzas are BIG. Self order.
Pretty cool facility. We went on a Saturday and they had vendors in the morning which was nice. The building is pretty big, a few tables in the front, a bunch when you walk in. Then some in the back. There is an ax throwing area towards the back. Also a parking lot on the side with a lot of parking.
The beer selection is pretty good. Ordering food was a bit confusing. The bar only shows drinks. I read the sign to say order food from the table. It made sense because they don’t show food on the sign. I think I misread the sign and you can order at the bar. But when you order food for your table the wait 30 minutes to make the food, because the think it’s to go. They should have been more clear. We waited 45 minutes for two basic kids meals. If you order from the bar I guess the food arrives quicker.
