Our Story

Where Craft Beer, Great Food & Good People Come together!
At The Brewtorium, we believe that great beer begins with good chemistry. Just like the perfect combination of hops, grain, water and yeast creates an exceptional beer, something magical happens when people connect over a couple of pints.
Chris and Whitney's journey began over pints on their first date, where they quickly realized their great chemistry was sparked by a shared love of craft beer. This passion has remained the cornerstone of their relationship and prompted them to build this dream together with the support of the Austin community.
A little nerdy and a lot of fun, the personality of The Brewtorium is a true reflection of its owners.
A Community Gathering Place
Dedicated to cultivating an environment rich with a sense of community, Chris and Whitney have strived to create a brewpub that serves as a warm, inviting gathering place for generations of patrons to experience fine craft beer and excellent food at a reasonable price.
The Brewtorium encourages personal connection through thoughtfully designed spaces:
Community tables that prompt conversation among strangers-turned-friends
Comfortable bar seating for enjoying our craft beers
Long, inviting bench seating perfect for large groups
A spacious beer garden with ample shade
A private event room for celebrating with the folks you love
These elements combine to create a space where families and friends can linger, relax, and enjoy memorable afternoons and evenings in each other's company. Unlike many establishments, The Brewtorium doesn't have televisions, instead focusing on creating genuine human connections and regularly hosts meet ups, special events, markets, fundraisers, drag brunches & trivia! There’s something for everyone!

What our guests are saying
The Brewtorium is a low-key brew pub and restaurant with a comfortable vibe in North Central Austin. I have to confess I am not a serious beer drinker by any means, but I like to think I can distinguish a lager from an ale from a stout. That said, I enjoyed both the Das Daydrinker lager and the Iron Belly porter I tried.at the Brewtorium. I was attending a birthday party so I never saw a menu, but the pretzel bites with mustard and queso were a creative change of pace. The Mac and Cheese was a classic preparation, and the bratwurst with saukraut on rye was an excellent accompaniment to high-end beers. The Brewtorium is good size operation. Our 40-50 sized birthday party crowd only filled up about 40% of the floorspace, and there was a steady stream of Sunday afternoon celebrants coming through the door throughout the over two hours I was there. Definitely a place I will consider taking my serious beer drinker friends for lunch in the future. Four and a half stars, leaning toward five stars overall when you throw the friendly and competent staff in the equation...👍
We went there on a weekend for lunch and it was fantastic. We shared a soft pretzel that was perfection. I had the blues on the greens salad and it was soooooo good. So filling and bursting with flavors. My husband ordered a southern style chicken sandwich and devoured it as well. Plenty of seating options which made our visit with our dog easy.
Literally every single thing was delicious.
Very good, uh-huh. ...
Food was great and reasonably priced. My husband loved the beers - we went during happy hour and the service was great too. Everyone was kind.
